The Burger’s Priest
The $6 cheeseburger and fries was enough for the kids to share (they’re usually small eaters) but I think the next time around I will order two (they devoured it!) and fries to share. When we stopped in for lunch, I tried the Peter’s Denial burger and had a juicy chicken burger with sweet corn, a soft bun and covered in gravy. I gave my fries to the girls. Jamie ordered the ‘What’s Right’ and had a burger chili cheese dogs, and drink for under forty bucks. The milkshake and burger were the star of the show, for the kids. We went at lunchtime and even with a line up the was out the door the entire time we were there, we were served in under ten minutes. The bright space was inviting, and the atmosphere fun, it’s a great casual option when you want a burger with the kids. website
Jack’s Burger Shack
On our adventures through the summer, we usually end up at the Splash Park in St. Albert at least once. Feeding hungry kids who just want something to eat quickly is simple at Jack’s Burger Shack. The traditional diner-feel, $4 grilled cheese kids menu and the option for things like a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake bring you back to the breakfasts of your childhood, while the delicious options like the BBQ Crunch Burger leave you saying ‘yum’. Get it to go and make it a picnic or dine in, it’s casual enough for the smallest of children. website
Soda Jerks
When you walk into Soda Jerks you’re going to be greeted with the wall of soda that will have the kids drooling. As much as they think they want to get the bubble gum soda, skip it. Every kid we’ve ever brought with us hasn’t enjoyed it as much as they think. Instead, opt for one of the delicious milkshakes.
Kids meals come with mini donuts as an option for the dessert, and parents can enjoy a delicious burger, while the kids are eating their own. Plus, there’s ‘grown up’ milkshakes for you to enjoy.
