There’s a New Edmonton Interactive Climbing Gym: Clip n Climb Opening in June

Similar to the other gym franchises, there’s an emphasis on action. Opening in Edmonton mid June, Clip n Climb is one of those fun outings that you’re going to want to add to your summer bucket list. Our kids are most excited about The Twister!

Clip ‘n Climb offers impressive climbing walls of various difficulty levels; with challenges for every level of kid (or adult). The timed climbs are some of the coolest activities, and similar to the Ninja Challenge that you’ll find at Amazone Playzone.

The bright and colorful gym is similar to a favourite that we visit in Calgary with the kids, and a franchise that we first visited in Vancouver on our last weekend trip. When I first spotted the account on Instagram in March, I was almost as excited as the kids!

We have been waiting for the opening date to arrive! It’s just in time for our youngest son to celebrate his birthday. There will be birthday party options available at Clip n Climb. The birthday options are generally based on admission, and then a rental of a party room (with multiple options available). At other locations, you can get everything from cake to juice, in-house!

How much will it cost?

Admission for other cities vary between $15 and $19 per hour. The $19/hour level of pricing is valid for kids 6+. You should be able to find reduced pricing with promotions, happy hour deals, and other kind of offers to make the outing a little more wallet friendly.

How does it work?

Climbers will have a full hour’s worth of climbing time. Which is plenty of time, even for the experienced climber.

Instructors monitor the climbing zone providing advice and encouragement on how to complete our over 70 challenges as well as to ensure safe climbing at all times.

Children under the age of 9 require active adult supervision in the climbing space by either a parent or guardian. We recommend at least one adult for three children under 9.
