Edmonton Drop in Programs Just for Dads and Kids/Baby

Edmonton Chapter: Rad Dads
This local group is a Dad support network for the sharing of ideas, wisdom and experiences of parenting – all while having a beer or two. There are Dad, and family-friendly events at local venues around the city.

EPL: Dad and Baby Time
Enjoy a special bonding time for babies and their male caregivers. In this relaxed environment, you’ll learn songs and rhymes that help support your baby’s development. Ages up to 18 months.

Edmonton Public Library: Daddy Boot Camp
Don’t let the name fool you – it’s pretty cool. Hang out with Yukon Jack from the Bear 100.3FM and learn about storytelling, puppet making, music improv and other fun stuff. Act like nobody is watching, sing like nobody is listening and enjoy just getting silly with your child!

Family Futures: Hanging with Dad
A FREE half-day of fun and creativity for kids (age 3 to 8) and their dads, granddads, or other significant males. Hang with superheroes, build a box fort or a tower out of straws, or just make a mess! Share pizza, pretzels and a brew (rootbeer of course!) with your special guy. Moms, book a spa day – follow along with Family Futures for the event dates – the next event takes place Saturday, November 18th, 2017.

Dad Edition: Books for Babies
Books for Babies is a program that encourages parents of infants between birth and 12 months to share books with their babies. It supports all families in developing early literacy and language experiences and promotes healthy family relationships.

Meetup: Dads and their Dudes/Dudettes
A group dedicated to dads who need some time out with the kids. A group where dads and their kids can socialize, watch the game and get some time out of the house. We don’t dad discriminate; single dads, married, divorced – just dads.
