Sunday Swing and Skate | Sunday, 1-4
Get jiving at City Hall! Local bands bring live swing, jazz and big band music; Sugar Swing Dance Club brings the moves. Free skate rentals. #swingNskate

Hazeldean Lantern Parade | Saturday
Join your family, friends and neighbours at the Hazeldean Community Hall to create your own lantern. Then we’ll take our creations and wander down the greenway and along Millcreek to show them off!

See a $2.99 Movie | Saturday, 11 am
Every Saturday, there’s a screening of $2.99 movies at Cineplex. Check your local theatre to make sure you get there on time, and you can find the full listings of movies that are coming up between now and march, right here.

Visit the Ice Castle | Friday-Sunday
Ice Castles is open for the season, and it’s bigger and better than ever. There are two slides inside, a fountain and a place to warm up around the fire. Go early in the day to avoid the lines for the ice slide, and enjoy yourself! For a different experience, and a chance to experience it in both dark and light, head there at dusk and experience it in brand new lights.

STEM Saturday | 10 am
Play Minecraft while you learn to code using Microsoft MakeCode at Microsoft Stores. Participants will learn block coding and customize Minecraft worlds as they play. After the event, new coders can sign up for Microsoft MakeCode camp and take their skills to the next level.

IndigoKids Storytime | Saturday, 11 am
Join your local store on Saturday, January 13 at 11am for a special colouring activity featuring the classic chidren’s character!
