What to do in Edmonton This Weekend (with Kids) | Oct 27-29

We’re coming into Halloween and the Edmonton Halloween events for kids are in full swing! Whether you want to hit up an outdoor festival for Halloween or check out one of the many workshops and classes, you’ve got plenty of options. Here’s what to do in Edmonton this weekend, with the kids:

Mudpie’s Halloween Bash | October
A spooktacular time with an illusion and magic show from the Joe Show, tickets include a fun inflatable obstacle course, pizza, games, crafts and drinks! Tickets are $40 for 2 adults, 2 kids.

Halloween Kids Night | October 27, 6-9
We are hosting a Hallowe’en fun night at the hall! The night will start with a “Princess Class” led by a special guest: Her Royal Highness, Princess Belle! When the clock strikes 6:30 p.m., there will be a costume parade for all attendees (be sure to dress up!), followed by a movie screening of 2016’s “Beauty and the Beast”.

Edmonton Pop Culture Fair | October 29, 2017
Calling all pop culture fanatics and families! There’s a pop culture fair coming to town and you’re not going to want to miss it. As always, anyone who comes dressed as they favorite pop culture character will receive free admission. Make sure you RSVP to the event, there will be free admission given to selected people who RSVP. Be sure to invite your friends!

Family Movie: The Jungle Book | October 27, 2017
In this revamp of the classic tale, orphan boy Mowgli (Neel Sethi) is raised in the jungle under the primary care of Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) the panther, and Raksha (Lupita Nyong’o) the mother wolf and her cubs. Although he attempts to live as one of the wildlife, it becomes increasingly clear that Mowgli should live in the “man village.”

Hotel Transylvania Costume Party + Movie | October 28, 2017
You’re invited to a Halloween Costume* Party in the IMAX Theatre! Let the Halloween festivities begin early this year! Wear your Halloween costume* and join us for spooky science & a delightfully frightful film: Hotel Transylvania. Halloween-themed science activities begin at 2:30 p.m. and the film begins at 4:30 p.m.

Bingo Fun Night | October 27, 7 pm
Come out for an inexpensive Bingo night for the entire family at North Glenora Community League. The cost is $2 per person. Fun for the whole family. There are prizes, refreshments and a chance to get out and try something new with the kids – what kid doesn’t love Bingo!
