Camp Warwa has been introducing children to the adventure of summer camp for 38 years, and is an accredited member of the Alberta Camping Association. Located on a 23-acre paradise on Lac Ste. Anne, 80 km west of Edmonton, and are dedicated to improving the lives of children through outdoor experiential programs.
Summer Camp 2019
There are 12 programs to choose from for summer camp at Camp Warwa, including the new Voyageur Earth Skills program for campers in fifth and sixth grade and the Adventure Canoe for campers in seventh to ninth grade.
Camp Warwa is dedicated to offering an exceptional summer camp experience to our campers and families. There are many different programs for you to choose from, with camps for all ages almost every week of the summer.
Campers will spend the week with their cabin group and counselors. All camps in Sessions 1-8 start Monday morning and end Friday evening. Camps in Session 9 start Monday morning and end Wednesday evening.
Full accommodations and washrooms are provided, either in our dormitory or cabins. Every meal is hearty, wholesome and child-friendly, with special accommodations always made for individual needs. All aspects of our facility, programs and procedures meet the professional standards required by the Alberta Camping Association.
Camper drop off at camp for all our Summer Camps is between 8:00am – 9:30am on Monday morning. If you are using our bus service from Edmonton, drop off is at Coronation Park between 7:30am – 8:15am.
Camper pick up at camp for all our Summer Camps is between 6:30pm – 7:00pm on the last day of the program. If you are using our bus service to Edmonton, pick up is at Coronation Park at 7:30pm.
