The new fountains at the Legislature (10800 97 Ave NW) are high on our list of things that we want to explore with the kids. Opening July 1, after a run through last month, the space is sure to be packed, but what a fun time to run through them and bring you right back to your childhood.
Make a Day of It
During Canada Day celebrations, the lights around the fountains are going to shine red, and through the rest of the year the colored lights will vary. I’ve read that the lights on the fountains are going to be on between 9 and 10, what a fun after-dinner destination.
With lots of picnic area, easy access to parking and a fun way to cool off, the new fountains at the legislature just made it to the top of our list of things to explore in Edmonton.
