Edmonton Playground Review: Place Shell Edutainment Center

There’s plenty of room to run round in Millennium Place indoor playground. The bright lit area is filled with a climbing wall, traditional play structure and an all new treehouse that kids can climb up and explore.

Two alcoves house fun and interactive activities for toddlers, oversized building blocks and a space that’s usually filled to the brim with kids, so there’s always someone to play with.

In addition to the children’s playground, admission to Millennium Place includes access to the swimming pool, the skating rink, and the older kid’s electronic playground in the gym where tweens and teens can use the air hockey table in the teen lounge, or play a game of pick up in the gym.

The extended hours of the indoor playground make it one of our favorite choices to run off some of that excess energy through the winter months, making bedtime a breeze.

If it’s a playground that you’re going to frequent, the monthly pass pays for itself with only three visits to the fun indoor playground in Sherwood Park – as parents aren’t required to pay when you enter just for the playground.

Address: 2000 Premier Way, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 2G4
Admission: $7, children 2 and under (free)
Hours: 9am – 9pm
Tips: bring socks, parents are free for the playground but must pay for swimming etc.
