The Best U Pick Farms in Edmonton and Area

School is out and it’s time to do those traditional summer activities. Every year, we make a couple of trips to the local U-pick farms in Edmonton, choosing berries that we use to make into jam, for the rest of the year.

Wondering where to go for berries? Or where to find vegetables and other U-pick fruits? We’ve shared some of our favourite places around Edmonton are to U pick with kids – Remember to call ahead or check the website to make sure that the berries are ready for picking (or whatever you choose to pick) because most of these are a drive outside of the city – and you don’t want to show up and be disappointed.

Grove Berry Patch
Available to pick: raspberries, black currants, high bush cranberries and vegetables

Available to pick: Strawberries (three varieties)
Hours: Opens July 11th
Location: Highway 13, 1 km west of Highway 2, in Central Alberta
In a rush? You can pick up 4L of berries for $23. Please call ahead. Occasionally we close unexpectedly due to low berry supply.

Available to pick: raspberries
