Things to do in Edmonton this Weekend (With Kids) | August 4-6

It’s the long weekend, and it’s the perfect time to go out of town – but if you’re staying in town, there’s plenty of things you can do with the kids.

Here’s what to do with the kids this weekend, in Edmonton:

Heritage Festival | August 5-7th
The Servus Heritage Festival is a three day celebration of multiculturalism held annually in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley. In 2017, the Festival will take place August 5th, 6th and 7th, and will feature 70 pavilions representing over 90 countries and cultures.  An estimated 1,300 volunteers from participating cultural organizations will work countless hours sharing their talent, enthusiasm, and culinary skills.  Pavilions offer dance, arts and foods from the land of their ancestors.

The Color RUN | August 6th
Use the code HALFOFF to get half off of the Color Run in Edmonton this Sunday. There’s a giant inflatable unicorn, color, a foam party and more to take part in at the run, and you’re going to have an incredible time if you bring the kids with you.

Fairy Berry Festival | August 5-7th
Fairies, pirates, home made berry shortcake, folk music, and maze adventures in the Mindbender and Kidz Corn Mazes are all part of the family fun! The “Fairy Berries” are the most exquisite of the strawberry season – small, dainty and delicious! Come help us celebrate this sweet fairy-tale bumble-berry and pirate’s treasure of a Kids Festival all long weekend.
