Downtown GLOW Outer Space Parade
As Edmonton’s first illuminated night parade, GLOW is a community-grown festival unique to Boyle Street and the Quarters downtown. This year’s theme is , “Outer Space”. We want to create Lanterns that engage in the theme of outer space, imagining both the possible and impossible in their lanterns. Example: galaxies, extraterrestrial life, planets, spaceships, suns, aurora borealis, and more.

Edmonton Winter Greenshack Program
Join in on games, sports, crafts, music, drama and special events. A complete list of activities and special events are posted on the side of Green Shacks each week. If there is a game or activity that peaks your child’s interest that you would like to have included in programming, just ask the Program Leader.

Glow Stick Walk
Join us for our second ever glow stick walk!
We will be set up behind the Castle Downs public library.
Free glow sticks will be handed out from 6pm until 8pm and cookies and hot chocolate from 6pm until 830pm.

Sing Along Brunch 
Join us for a magical brunch to remember at Hudson’s 109. Enjoy brunch while you sing along with your favourite Disney classics. Each table will have song-books, just in case you don’t know the words to favourite sing-along classics. Brunch menu will be available to order. Meet and greet with two Surprise Disney characters, and get your photo taken in front of the Photo wall and enter to win incredible Disney themed door prizes, best dressed, and most enthusiastic singing group.

Curiouscity Grand Opening at Telus World of Science
Inspired by the city we call home and will give our children (Ages 8 and under) a sense of place. The signature experiences include: A series of connected “treehouses” themed as iconic Edmonton buildings and bridges, Children will crawl through sedimentary layers in the river valley, Direct airplane traffic at the YEG airport, Explore vegetation in the Muttart Conservatory, Create lighting displays for the High Level Bridge. CuriousCITY will increase our capacity for this younger audience, while providing an environment to help them grow intellectually, emotionally and physically.
