What to do in Edmonton this Weekend with Kids | May 10-12

The warm weather is here and we can’t wait to get outside. First up this weekend is a trip to one of our favourite places to explore the outdoors, feeding small birds at Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary. Then, it’s lunch with friends, playgrounds, and a weekend filled with exploring – maybe dropping into a bike safety program designed for kids (it’s free!) and celebrating Mother’s Day with the kids.

St. Albert Centre Carnival 
The Wildrose Shows are coming to St. Albert Centre! Between Thursday and Sunday, the carnival is in town and it’s the perfect chance to enjoy the warm weather. The best time to visit with kids is when you can experience the carnival with unlimited rides, between select hours, with a $35 wristband.

Saturday

Drop in Bake Safety Program
Enjoy the cycling season with basic safety skills for participants on 2 or 4 wheels. Come join us at one of our beautiful recreation facilities to learn about the parts of your bike, road and trail rules, cycling etiquette, and to participate in some riding drills. This program is targeted for children aged 6-12 years, but all children accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend. Families are encouraged to interact and participate together!

Cineplex Family Favourites
Our $2.99 family favourite movies continue every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy time with your family and friends! A portion of the proceeds goes towards supporting WE Charity. This weekend, it’s Bumblebee playing!

The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation is excited to announce our 3rd Annual Teddy Bear Fun Run on Saturday, May 11 at Rundle Park! Take a 5 km walk, stroll or run individually or as a group! The Teddy Bear Fun Run is stroller and wheelchair friendly but cannot accommodate bicycles.
