What to do in Edmonton this Weekend (With Kids) | October 21-23

Free Movies | Cineplex Theatres
It’s Cineplex community day and that means there are free movie screenings at your local theater, with multiple showtimes to choose from. Visit the theater for the screenings, but get there early, and take advantage of $2 concessions during the movies for an inexpensive family date.

Boo at the Zoo | Edmonton Valley Zoo
Get Closer… Be Not Afraid this Halloween! Wear your coolest costume and bring your environmentally friendly trick or treat bags while you “Get Closer” to the wonders of the animal kingdom. Hands-on Science experiments, crafts, extinct animal graveyards, and a Witches Den are just some of the activities that will make Boo at the Zoo one of your Halloween traditions!
When: Sunday, 11-4

Michaels Kids Club | Michaels Stores
$2.00, Materials Included They craft; you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a yarn ghost project. Sign up instore or just drop in. $2 per project, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event

Howl-ween Pooch Parade | Greenland Garden Centre
Parade your costumed pooch for a chance to win prizes!
