Open Cockpit Day at Alberta Aviation Museum
Explore the world of bush planes, commercial aviation, and fighter jets, all from the cockpit! This year’s event will have more aircraft, new displays, kid’s activities, food trucks, and fun for the entire family.
Harvest Fall Festival
This is a family friendly event that will coincide with Riverdale Community League’s League day. There will be something for everyone: a FREE BBQ, soccer games, kids games, silent auctions and of course our Harvest Contests!
Free Family Movie Night
When: Saturday Night
Join us for a relaxing and fun movie experience. Intermission at the middle of the movie with a full concession offering hotdogs, hamburgers, popcorn, cotton candy, and more.
McLeod Community League Day
Neighbours of all ages are invited to join us for free events and lunch. Bounce castles, face painting, balloon twisting and more! Get your free library card or enjoy fresh fruit donated by Miller Crossing Farmers Market. Please consider bringing a food or cash donation for the Edmonton Food Bank.
Harvest Gathering at Greenland
An afternoon filled with old fashioned fun for the whole family! Hayrides, corn on the cob, marshmallow roast, kid’s activities, Strathcona Raptor Shelter, pumpkin/vegetable carving demonstrations and more! *Toonie donations for some activities support ‘A Safe Place’ Women’s Shelter, CASH ONLY please
Free Swimming at Emerald Hills Pool
When: Saturday, 2-4
Spend your Saturday afternoon swimming at Emerald Hills pool in Sherwood Park – it’s free! Sponsored by Tony Roma’s, this free swim gives you a chance to get out of the house on the cheap with the kids.
Free local corn-on-the-cob and all the fixings, music, and activities for kids. Help celebrate one year since Alex Decoteau Park opened! The community garden will also be open for folks to explore.
Playground Grand Opening and Movie Night
When: Saturday, 6:30
Our very popular MOVIE NIGHT is back, along with the grand opening of our new playground! A ribbon cutting ceremony and thank-yous will start around 7. Ballon animals, glitter tattoos & treats galore followed by the 1995 hit, BABE.
