Finding affordable theater that’s also engaging can be tricky when you’re introducing little kids to the stage – there are shows that don’t fully capture their attention, or shows that aren’t familiar or the kids might just be too young. At five, I took Olivia to a performance of Annie last year, presented by SCA Fine Arts, that she still talks about.
She was enthralled, in only a way that a five year old could be – and I was entertained. The fabulous singing and performance ensured that I stayed up to date for future performances. Coming up into 2016, there’s a performance that excites us even more – Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
