You Can Bring Your Kids to an After-Dark Glowstick Walk that’s Going to Light up the Night on Oct 20

There’s a fun way to spend an evening coming to Edmonton, and you’re going to want to add it to your calendar. On October 20th, you can visit the Caernarvon Community for an incredible glowstick walk. Glowstick and fun novelty items will be provided, but you’re also welcome to bring your own light-up items to add to the fun.

Directions: Meet at the Castledowns Public Library where we will hand out glow items. Dress for the weather! At 6:45pm, the group will leave from Castledowns Public Library for our walk around Beaumaris Lake.

What to Expect

On the walk, everyone will use their personal glowing items – like glow sticks, or handheld light-up items and create an experience that’s literally going to light up the night. It’s a fun night out, where the whole ‘parade’ of glowsticks will be created exclusively by the lights in your hands. How cool is that!?

Warm up at the end of the walk with the provided Cookies and Hot Chocolate. This event is completely free, but organizers ask that you register beforehand to help the planning for the event and to determine numbers for the glow walking parade!
