5 Reasons to See Santa at The Marketplace at Callingwood 12/12 and 12/19 #yegkids

Hay rides and Visits with Santa – Can you think of a better way to spend a Saturday in Edmonton in December? The Marketplace at Callingwood is hosting Santa Clause and Hay Rides on December 12 and 19, 2015 from 11am-3pm – and it’s going to be a blast.

Five Reasons to Come See Santa at The Marketplace at Callingwood

Photos and Visits with Santa
Just in time for Christmas, kids can visit with Santa and make those final requests, and get a bit of encouragement to lean towards good behavior. Children can even get their picture taken with Santa and printed on-site (for a small fee).

Horse Drawn Hay Rides
Weather permitting, you can bundle up and enjoy hay rides in the parking lot of The Marketplace at Callingwood. Has there ever been a better way to enjoy a cold winter day?

Free Hot Chocolate
Join the event and warm up with hot chocolate provided by The Tea Place. That’s a great way to warm up after the horse drawn sleigh ride outside. Work up an appetite? Kids can also decorate ‘fun buns’ from Cobs bread.

Saturday Crafternoon
At the event Oxford Learning is going to be in place with crafts for kids. Kids can come and enjoy themed activities to celebrate the holidays, warming up after spending time outdoors.

Give Back
Bring those gently used coats and winter gear for Coats for Kids. Just before the holidays, it’s a great time to purge those closets, but an even better time to teach gratitude. Teach them the importance of kindness, of giving back and community by bringing gently used winter wear for donation.
