The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden announced Saturday it would close due to the new coronavirus outbreak, and there is no reopen date known yet.
But the zoo said the community (and the whole world) can stay connected to their favorite animals while it is closed through the Home Safari Facebook Live sessions, taking place on weekdays starting at 3 p.m. Monday.
Monday’s session featured Fiona the hippo. The sessions will highlight the animals as well as provide an activity that can be done while at home. Up for Tuesday’s schedule is a brand new animal.
