Develop Those Beginner Sewing Skills with House of Sew Summer Camps

Last year we gave our daughter a sewing machine for Christmas. Not being very crafty myself, it was one of those things that I knew was best left to the experts, but I wasn’t sure where to start when it came to finding sewing classes for kids in Edmonton – enter House of Sew.

She went through the sessions and made a variety of cool things that were pretty impressive, especially for a non-crafty parent like me. She came home with a pillow, a tote bag, an apron and learned the skills to not only put her machine to use at home but to pique her interest in creating with textiles, at home.

This summer, there are a variety of camps for kids at House of Sew. From different levels to ages, you can choose a class where the kids will create projects to bring home, and spend a week learning to create and gathering a love of textiles and sewing.

Kids Summer Camp Dates (By Level and Age)

July 10-14th : Kids Level 1 (Age 7-9)
July 24-28th : Kids Level 1 (Age 10-13)
