Pop up Adventure Playground | Friday, 1 pm
Team Pop-Up Adventure Play are pleased to announce that we’ll be running a pop-up adventure playground near Edmonton, hosted by the good folks of Laurier Heights Out of School Care. Come join us for some self-directed play time with open-ended materials like cardboard boxes, fabric, tubes and woks. Everyone is welcome, but dress for play as it might get a little messy!

Sarasota Annual Drive In | Friday 6 pm
We’re doing it again! Join us on Friday, August 25th for our Third Annual Client Appreciation Drive-In Movie and Night Market in the Servus Place Parking Lot! Come tour the Night Market from 6-9PM featuring all our favourite local vendors then cozy up on your tailgate at sundown for the forever classic film, Little Rascals. Food Vendors: Cotton Candy + Popcorn supplied by Katelyn Smith from The Mortgage Group, Fat Franks and Blue Giraffe Creamery. Night Market Vendors: Simply Green Style, Kaespo, Heart String Art, Hey Sis! Boutique, House of Henna, Fringe & Feather, Prairie Couture, Joy + Oils, Bo and Marrow, Land of Lennon, Homeward Bound, KEEP Collective, Accessory Insanity, Bluebird Face Painting and Amy’s Wings n Things.

Cycle in the City Party | Saturday, 10 am
Ready, set, let’s roll with the official launch of the Downtown Bike Network! The City of Edmonton and a group of community partners are throwing a party to celebrate network, and help educate Edmontonians. It’s your bike party, and everyone’s invited!

Michaels Kids Club ‘Neon Craft’ | Saturday, 10 am
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy making neon personalization art.
Sign up in store or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises
during the event.

The Great Trail Celebration | Saturday
The Trans Canada Trail with support from Canadian Heritage has a goal to connect The Great Trail and the country for a grand celebration on August 26, 2017. Communities across Canada will be celebrating The Great Trail and Canada’s 150th on the same date. Check out the google map here: 902 Twp. Rd. 540, Strathcona County There will be inflatable fun, edible art, geocaching, and free hot dogs for the first 250 people who arrive.

Kids Fringe | All weekend
Don’t miss the performance on Friday night, the fire performance is going to be a fantastic reason to stay up late, and get out there and explore the fringe, take in a new performance and get some of that delicious Lemonade that can only be found at Edmonton festivals.

Viva Italia | Sunday
Italian festivals are filled with great music, friends and family, tons of food and even more fun. 8 years ago, A.G.I.E. decided to bring the back the tradition of an Italian festival and with that, Viva Italia Viva Edmonton (V.I.V.E.) was created! Bringing an authentic Italian festival to the streets of Little Italy in Edmonton, V.I.V.E. entertains, promotes, indulges and immerses the citizens of Edmonton into the Italian Culture. This year, you can experience VIVE at Giovanni Caboto Park on Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Ponies and Unicorns Summer Picnic | Sunday, 12-3
$20 donation for families, pony rides, face painting, food, fun and more. Photo wall, bouncy castles and more. Bike decorating booth and bike parade.
