With the warm weather here – it’s the perfect opportunity to spend one of the first warm weekends of the year at the Spray Park.
City of Edmonton Spray parks are set to open on May 12, 2017, and neighbourhood spray parks opening on May 19th – but Kinsmen has opened early, meaning it’s the perfect opportunity to get out there and enjoy the hot weekend weather.
Here are some of our favourite spray park tips for kids:
- Bring snacks, and drinks – whether you bring snacks or lunch from home, and you can spend longer enjoying the park!
- Use a pop-up tent for shade. Most of the spray parks in the city don’t have a lot of shade for families visiting, so bringing your own shade (especially if you’re bringing along infants) is helpful.
- An outdoor blanket is another one of our must-have items for the spray park. It’s an easy way to put something down on the ground and you can shake it off and bring it home!
