At Strathcona Nursery School, the classroom is spacious with large, bright windows. The environment is set up with fun, top quality equipment that allows for a variety of sensory play, art experiences, block and dramatic play, and daily music time. Children can be active as well as find a quiet space to do puzzles, games and enjoy a wide selection of books. There is access to 2 adjacent playgrounds where the children enjoy well-supervised outdoor play. Children aged 2.5 to 5 years of age are accepted to the program and are not required to be potty trained to attend. Strathcona Nursery School is a licensed, non-profit parent cooperative.
