How and Where to Register for Girls Hockey in Edmonton

Getting our daughters comfortable on the ice has been a priority for us, since they learned to walk. Learning to skate in the local programs, spending time every week playing on the local rink with parents and friends, and when they were old enough to grab a hockey stick – learning the basics of the game.

If you are raising daughters who have demonstrated an interest in hockey, the Edmonton Girls Hockey Association (EGHA) should be on your radar. The EGHA is a city-wide girls’ hockey association that focuses on giving each player the chance to develop her skills and have fun in a safe, supportive environment.

Multiple skill levels are available, from an initiation program for beginning players between the ages of ages 4 to 6, then from Novice all the way up to and including the Junior level (age 22).
