Farm and Heritage Festival in Spruce Grove
The Farm and Heritage Carnival 2018 will be an enjoyable and amusing event for the whole family!! * Pony rides * Bouncy Fun House * Petting zoo * Clowns * Face painters * Old Fashioned Carnival Games * Food, and fun for the whole family!! Toad Walk at Elk Island
Join us this Saturday night as we take a short walk to see boreal toads. We will walk the easy 3.5 km Beaver Pond trail, meet in the trail parking lot at 8:30 pm. Toads are nocturnal and just after dark will yield the best results. We will report findings to the AVAMP by the ACA. There are plans to have a moth light set up as well so when we get back there should be some moths to see and photograph. End time is tentative. Please bring appropriate footwear, flashlights and clothing. Bug spray may be needed, but if you can go without it is encouraged.

Spruce Grove Farm and Heritage Festival
Pony rides, bouncy fun house, petting zoo, clowns and face painters, old fashioned carnival games, food, and fun for the whole family. Carnival and ride tickets $1 each, most rides and attractions are 3-4 tickets each. Also musical performances courtesy of Cooper Studios on the ATCO sound stage, The Spruce Grove Farmers Market is also open during the event. Proceeds go to the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Heritage Society.

Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival
The racing begins Friday evening with the Grassroots and Novice Cup races where novice teams will experience their first dragon boat race! This friendly competition starts the race component of the festival at 7:30 pm. The Grassroots division consists of teams that do not have more than two experienced paddlers in the boat and the Novice division consists of teams that have a minimum of eight new paddlers. They are racing for glory!  This is a great evening for family, friends, non-paddlers and paddlers of all ages and skill levels to unite and join together in celebration of this ancient sport.

Fringe Festival & Kids Fringe
KidsFringe inspires creativity and play for families with toddlers to tweens. Learn new skills and discover your inner artist with the many fun activities available. Upon entrance to KidsFringe, children receive a KidsFringe Passport sponsored by Dental Choice. The passport has activities to help you explore the site. When Li’l Fringers complete the passport, they’ll receive a voucher for free ice cream! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only adults with children are permitted entrance to KidsFringe. Tactile and sensory play for all children to enjoy!
