Day Camp at Laser City

No School? No Problem! Sign up for one of our Day Camps! Need to keep the kids busy and having fun for the day? We’ve got just the thing with our Laser Tag and Mini Paintball Day Camps. For Ages 6 – 12 Snacks and a PIZZA lunch are provided Just $65 a player for a full day of FUN!

Canadian Tire Magic of Lights

Open each evening throughout the Holiday Season 5PM-10PM The Canadian Tire Magic of Lights at Castrol Raceway is 2 kilometers of festive and vibrant LED-lighted displays celebrating the joy of the holidays. A “drive-through” experience from the comfort of your own car. At every turn, and in every direction, the magical route is overflowing with spectacular light displays and animations. Multiple holiday themes come to life with hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights!

SATURDAY

Free Winter Celebration at Bonnie Doon

The Bonnie Doon Ice Rink is here and we are having a Winter Celebration. Join us Saturday, December 28 from 12 pm – 4 pm for a FREE community event.

Holiday Fun at Telus World of Science

Get into the Holiday spirit with these fun and festive activities from December 21 through January 5, 2020! There’s a candy cane building challenge, jingle smells, winter story time and your chance to check out the newly expanded Science Garage!

Snowshoe and Stargaze

Discover the park in a new way with Snowshoe and Stargaze at Elk Island National Park! Experience the quiet winter beauty when you strap on some snowshoes for a short hike, followed by snacks and a lesson on the night sky beside a roaring bonfire! There are nine opportunities to take part in this program between December 2019 and February 2020. Don’t miss out!

The cost of the program is $29.80 per person with a valid park pass. The fee includes the use of snowshoes, warm snacks and refreshments and a Parks Canada Guide. Call 780-922-5790 to book. (Capacity for each session is 20 people and pre-registration is required.)

SUNDAY

Christmas Bird Count at John Janzen

Find yourself at a loss when you hear the question… what kind of bird is that? Join us for family learning fun as we talk about common Edmonton birds and count them for the citizen science project: Christmas Bird Count. We’ll take a close look at bird artifacts, monitor bird feeders for the current residents, and make a simple bird feeder to bring home!

Enjoy Lights Festival

ELF will have something for everyone, such as an interactive lights garden, festive market, photos with Santa, local performers, a light tunnel and local food vendors. Guests can enjoy a seasonal beverage or holiday treat, as they walk indoors through the festival.

Edmonton Oilers Skills Competition

Reserved Seating is only $20 in the lower bowl and $15 in the upper bowl, with net proceeds benefiting the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) and the NHLPA Goals & Dreams Fund. This family-friendly, all-ages event makes the perfect stocking stuffer for any Oilers fan. Enjoy as your Oilers go head-to-head in a battle of skill, speed and accuracy! Note, the Sportsnet Club and Sky Lounge will not be food-inclusive for the Skills Competition.
