Street Performer’s Festival | All Weekend
We’re doing it again… in the gazebo… but this time, for 10 days, higher and with more balls! Catch all your favourite Street Performers in Old Strathcona, July 5-14.
annual Splash Party is happening on Sunday, July 14, 2019. The fun starts at 11 a.m.! So bring your towel, water bottle and sunscreen and we will provide the fun. Everyone is also welcome to join us for a BBQ at noon. Enjoy a hotdog, chips and beverage on us.
CN 100 Days at the Alberta Railway Museum
Come and enjoy a free ride on a track maintenance car, tour the new display on CN’s history, and enjoy our photo line-up of CN locomotives, dating back to 1913. And since it’s a birthday, there will be cake! Tour the collection of preserved and restored train cars. Cold drinks, snacks, ice-cream, and souvenirs are available in the station. Picnic tables are located on the grounds — bring a picnic and stay for the day.

With summer nearly here, it’s time to start planning those activities and events that are going to create those incredible summer experiences. Outdoor movies in Edmonton 2019 are some of those iconic summer experiences. Catching a movie in the park, with snacks, pizza or a picnic from home is a great reason to stay up late.
Color Me Rad: Edmonton
You start in a pearly white t-shirt or costume of your choice, and each kilometre volunteers from 630 Ched Santas Anonymous will plaster you with colour, turning your white, into…..not so white. After 5 thrilling kilometres of colour fun you will come to the colour festival party, and dance, shake, jump, your rad booties off to the grooviest of tunes.
Manning Summer Melt
Kick start Summer with our FREE family event, the Manning Summer Melt on (NEW DATE) Saturday, July 13th from 12pm-3pm at Manning Town Centre! Enjoy an afternoon of family-fun including bouncy castles, obstacle courses, face-painting, and more! PLUS, Manning Town Centre will be giving away FREE ICE CREAM while supplies last!

Join us for an afternoon of FREE climbing, food, prizes and fun! Our bouldering lounge and highwall loft will be open to the public at no cost from 1:00 – 6:00PM on Saturday, July 13! No prior experience is required – we’ll provide all of the necessary equipment and safety checks at no cost!
Northgate Summer Carnival
Enjoy the Northgate Summer Carnival, in support of the Edmonton Humane Society. Stop by to enjoy: pony rides, petting zoo, bounce castles, balloon animals, face painting and roving entertainment. Activities for the entire family are included in the ticket price. The cost is $5/child, or $10/family with no charge for adults. There will be free cotton candy and slushies while supplies last. Cash only, please.
MEC Edmonton Paddlefest
Dive into the world of kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddleboarding. We’ve got lots on deck, and everyone’s welcome. Join in to meet paddlers, demo anything that floats, and learn new skills at a clinic.
Ottewell Fun in the Sun
Join us for an afternoon of games, food and fun. There will be a bouncy house, carnival games, food and prizes. Bring your swim suits and cool off at the spray park. Show your current OCL membership to take part for free. Non-members can join in the fun for a small fee.
