Family Friendly BBQ will feature first responders and emergency vehicles (Fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances). There will be games for children, BBQ, live entertainment, prize giveaways and fun for families. First responders will also be treated to a free BBQ at the event.

Visit the Corn Maze during Opening Weekend
This years maze design is both an amazing aerial view as well as a challenging maze. Though the correct pathways can be walked in under 30 minutes, most directionally-challenged visitors – adults and children alike – will require about one hour to travel through the maze of more than 5 km of twists and turns and 85 decision points.
Mega Bounce Run
Come join the fun in this epic event that is sweeping the nation one town at a time. There is no better way to enjoy your weekend then bouncing through an inflatable obstacle called “Pillow Land” and sliding down a two-story high stat line! Join us and thousands of others getting there “Bounce ON” this summer.
Family Fun Day
A fun day full of excitement centered around the kids. Lots of activities: Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, plant your own Strawberry Plant, paint a beautiful Garden Rock, add to our Community Mural, get your Photo with some Popular Characters, enjoy a Tasty BBQ and much, much, more! A $10 wristband(group rates available) allows you to enjoy selected activities. Or you can pick which activity you want to do and purchase individual tickets for $2.
Summer Drive in Movie: The Incredibles 2
Saturday, July 27 at 10:00pm we will be having our next summer Drive-In Movie! Incredibles 2 on the giant screen. This is a FREE movie event with a concession available all concession proceeds and donations will go directly to our BackPacks for Kid’s program.
Free Playdate: Summer Creatures at the ReUse Centre
Join us for some fun DIY summer crafting, as we create colorful summer critters. Create your own unique critter or creature using reusable materials. These are perfect to take along to family picnics, on camping trips, or just playing with in the backyard.
Goatworks Meet and Bleet
Join the GoatWorks team and Baah’d Plant Management and Reclamation staff (and herd) for a fun-filled day you won’t want to miss! Participate in free family-friendly activities, and to see the goats in action.
Road Trip: Pizza Night in a Ghost Town
Head out of town near Drumheller and explore Rowley, Albert. It’s a ghost town where you can find pizza nights, once a month, and the chance to explore the ghost town in detail. It gets busy! They take orders from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hall. The pizzas are 12″ and are $14.00 for a two-topping pizza, with extra toppings being $1.00 each. Refreshments are served in the Saloon across the street.
Kids Day out at The Melting Pot
Looking for the prefect summer time activity to do with the kids? Join us on Sunday July 28 2019, from 11 am -2 pm for some summer time crafts and activities,it will feel just like camp! Visit Borden Park Natural Pool
Sand, beach volleyball, natural swimming pools – you don’t need to leave the city to get the beach vibe with the kids. Borden natural swimming pool is free, but you’re going to want to get there before it opens to get in line to snag a great spot under the shaded umbrellas.
