Operation Orchards | Saturday, 12-4
Calling detectives of all ages – Join us for Operation Orchards! Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to visit the show homes to collect clues and solve the puzzle. If you can crack the code, you can win free food, or even better, be entered to win the grand prize of a Family Fun Day at WEM!

Kids Paint Day at Tutti Frutti | Saturday, 1-2:30
KIDS PAINT DAY! is back at Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt St. Albert. Join for fun-filled professional instructor-led paint class for kids. Take home a fun painting, led by an instructor and get delicious, froyo while you’re there. Tickets are $26 for the event.

Watch the Lion King Junior | All weekend long
The animals of the Pride Lands will welcome Simba, the newborn cub of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi.  All of your favourite characters are here in the Horizon Players’ youth production of Disney’s Lion King Jr., a stage adaptation of the Disney hit film. Come along with us as we bring alive this adventurous story with songs including “Circle of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”, “Hakuna Matata”, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”. Tickets are $19 for the performance.

See a $2.99 Movie | Saturday, 11 am
On Saturday mornings at 11 am at your Cineplex Theater, there are $2.99 showings of your favourite family movies. It’s a cheap morning out and an easy way to bring the kids to the movies without breaking the bank. This weekend, the screening is the LEGO MOVIE.

Try Rolled Ice Cream | All weekend long
Scoop N Roll opened for the season this week,and just in time. The popular ice cream truck has delicious rolled ice cream that is just as fun watching being made, as it is eating it. It’s kind of enthralling, and the ice cream is delicious. Go early to avoid the line!

Explore a New Playground | All weekend Long
Explore a new playground in Edmonton. Get out of your comfort zone, leave your neighbourhood and check out the playgrounds that are in the city – there are some unique, fantastic playgrounds, filled with adventure that are ripe for exploring!

Ladybug Release Party | Sunday, 11 am
At this fun family event learn about beneficial insects and all they bring to our gardens! (Please watch ArberGreenhouses.com and FB in the event that there is a shortage of Ladybugs).

Enter a Pinball Tournament | Saturday + Sunday
Come have some old school arcade fun with 100 pinball and arcade machines! Kids 11 & under are FREE all weekend. (Must be with an adult.) Play games just for fun or join in on our tournaments if you have a more competitive side! It’s a super fun and unique way to enjoy the weekend with your family
