The weekend is here and I don’t know about you – but we are excited! It’s been a long couple of weeks of illness in our house, from viral rashes to influenza, and stomach bugs. So – you can bet that we’re excited to get out and explore this weekend, back on track to weekends spent doing fun activities instead of snuggling in bed (although sometimes that’s nice too.)

Kids Day out at the Melting Pot
Celebrate Easter with your little one at The Melting Pot Edmonton! Join us on Friday, April 19th, and partake in a themed 3 course fondue experience! Enjoy cheese fondue, salad, and chocolate fondue for $25 per adult, $10 per child! Easter egg coloring and hunting, along with other crafts will be available for you or your kids to partake in between 11 A.M. – 2 P.M..
Glow Night at Jump 360
Glow Night features all of our usual equipment in a party atmosphere, complete with flashing lights, lasers and some great music! So pull up your jump socks and put on your whitest white and get glowin’! Glow Nights for General Public is from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Wear glow gear for some lit up fun!
Ottewell Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for this fun, family event. Get your bucket, and go hunting for 10 eggs in exchange for an amazing treat bag. Take part in colouring and crafts in the hall as well as hot chocolate and treats. Don’t miss our special guest – Fluffy Bunny.
Easter Hoppening at the Muttart
Find out what’s Hoppening down at the Muttart this Easter! Explore the pyramids and take part in some family friendly activities. Plant an Easter themed plant and meet some furry friends down at the Muttart. We promise you’ll have a hoppin’ good Easter!

Check out the adorable bunny petting zoo, and the two face painting stations a scavenger hunt and fun activities for the family. While you’re there, enter to win a basket filled with goodies – it’s free!
Family Karoake Day: Easter Edition
Come down for our next family karaoke event easter weekend! Great food, crafts and of course karaoke! We will also be doing an Easter egg hunt with the kids around 3:30pm. Hope to see lots of family out!
All Day outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Take an outdoors day and learn local edible and medicinal plants as well as animal tracks and discover hidden objects! A healthy alternative to an Easter Egg hunt, participants will learn the local edible and medicinal plants as well as discovering objects hidden in the woods and analyzing animal tracks. Children are welcome if accompanied by adults. $25 per person, $15 for children

Make a banner filled with cute, colorful paper eggs for Easter. Buy the scrapbook paper, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.
Easter at Telus World of Science
Hop over to the science centre for a weekend full of science that promises discovery, excitement, and memories. Bird Search – CuriousCITY* where Children will go birding around mini Edmonton – searching for birds and the eggs they lay. Egg-stronauts – ESSO Skywalk, wher ekids can Put their engineering skills to the test as they craft a vehicle to delive ‘Egg-stronaut’ safely to the ground. Candy Science – The Body Fantastic. The Easter Bunny brought you chocolate – now let’s do some science with it. We will put chocolate, marshmallows, and pop to the test at this fun event!
WELCA Easter Party
Head to the stables for an Easter celebration! Admission is $20/family and includes fun activities like: Easter Bonnet Contest with the Horses! Scavenger Hunt Pool Noodle Horse Races Easter basket raffle Crafts Concession.
Griesbach Easter Egg Hunt
Our Easter Egg Hunt is back again this year. Kids, get ready to traverse the terrain starting on the north end of Roundel Lake, to see where the Easter bunny hid its colourful eggs. This is an annual Griesbach tradition for kids 12 and under. Please try to arrive early and allow time for for check in. The event will start at 10:30 a.m. sharp. All registered kids will receive a small treat after they collect one egg of each colour from around the lake. There will be a limited amount of coffee, juice and other light refreshments provided for parents.
Easter Event at Baturyn
Join us for lunch this Easter! This fun family event for kids of all ages including treats for the most adventurous. Activities to include a small maze, egg hunt, cotton candy machine, loonie concession, $2 hot dogs and decorating.
