Check this Out: Cool Open Data Map of Kids Activities in Edmonton

Having a ton of information in one place for parents to have access to, to make it easy to entertain the kids, for Edmonton parents, is one of those things that we strive for. Today, an incredible ‘open data’ map was brought to our attention that highlights the fun things for kids to do in Edmonton.

From spray parks to playgrounds, attractions and outdoor pools, and much, much, more – you’ll find everything you need to entertain the kids this summer, on this easy to use and interactive map from Open Analytics – City of Edmonton.  You can check off the type of activity or facility that you’re searching for, making it easy to narrow down the type of fun you’re searching for.

Whether you’re looking for fun things to do in your neighbourhood, making it easy to walk to travel by bike, or you’re willing to go a little farther – you can find everything you’re looking for on the map of Edmonton.

We would love to see the ability for parents to add their own ‘fun ideas’ to the map, trails to explore, hikes that are perfect for the kids, places to play and explore – to make an incredible map (and resource) for Edmonton parents.

You can find the Open Data map, here.
