What to do in Edmonton this Weekend (with Kids) | Nov 3-5

There might not be enough snow out there yet to get out there and enjoy those winter sports and activities, but there’s enough to get out, bundle up, and enjoy Edmonton in every season. If getting outside isn’t your jam, we’ve got indoor suggestions too. Here’s what to do in Edmonton this weekend, with kids:

River City Rodeo Kids Corrall | Saturday
This will be a free admission event for all ages that will have wagon rides, live music, AdaptAbilities Kid Zone, the WHARF Puppy Ranch, Marshmallow Roasting Stations, Rodeo Queens and more!

Hibernation Hijinks at John Janzen | Sunday Afternoon
What sort of adaptations do animals in the river valley have to survive our frigid environment? How could you do the same if necessary? Come to the John Janzen Nature Center to learn about conservation efforts along with the survival skills animals use in the winter and practice a few of your own. Plenty of family fun awaits those who attend! There are plenty of outdoor activities planned, but regular admission will be required to check out the stuff happening inside!

Michaels Kids Club: Painted Rocks | Saturday, 10 am
Making stuff with kids rocks. Bring your little ones to paint rocks with us. Sign up in store or just drop in. Parent or guardian must remain on premises. Check your local store for details.

Cupcake Social at Color Me Mine | Saturday
Join the Cupcake Social! Only $34 per person all inclusive of cupcake pottery (2 items to choose from), cupcake and drinks provided. Register using the information in the link above and come paint and enjoy treats!
