Throughout the City there are winter green shack programs popping up! The Edmonton Greenshack program is completely free, and offers drop-in activities for kids aged 6-12 (families and younger children welcome, but parents must stay to supervise).
Green shack activities will include: games, crafts, sports, outdoor cooking and more! These activities are such a fantastic way to show the kids entirely new programming at their local playgrounds, and we’re so excited to see the Greenshack program continue into the winter months, as it’s something that’s usually reserved for the summer time.
The program will be held on Mondays from 3:30 – 6:00 pm, Wednesdays 3:30 – 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at Richfield Park (7910-36 Avenue) from December 9 to January 5.
