Animal Riders is new to West Edmonton Mall, in front of Chapters, in that small inset area where promotions and other installations happen from time to time. As part of animal riders, children can ride robotic animals (of their choice) around the track, as part of this paid activity.
Prices vary between $10-20, depending on the amount of time and the amount of ‘riders’ you’ve got with you. We paid $10.50 for two riders, for fifteen minutes, which was less than the sign on hand – so I’m assuming there was some sort of promotion in play.
What ages it is best for? We had two children with us, four and seven – the four year old was thrilled, and the seven year old enjoyed herself, but it’s more exciting for younger children (our suggestion between three and five year olds).
The kids were excited about choosing their robotic animal, and going around the track. It’s not as amazing as the experiences where the kids can rent these and ride around the entire mall, like in the US, but it’s still one of those fun activities that you can do for a rainy indoor morning at West Edmonton Mall.
