Edmonton Heritage Festival 
The Festival is a three-day event at which you can sample delicious food, see creative performances, and celebrate Canada. Enjoy the tastes, smells, sights and sounds from 100 countries and cultures at 71 outdoor pavilions. Free entertainment on more than 25 stages throughout Hawrelak Park. Take ETS Park and Ride, or bring your bike. No onsite public parking.

Watch the Goonies at Metro Cinema
A 80’s classic screens at Metro Cinema! A group of young misfits who call themselves The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on a quest to find a legendary pirate’s long-lost treasure. Free admission for kids 12 & under.

Watch: Missing Link Outdoors
1st of 4 free movie nights in August! Movies begins at dusk. Remember to bring a chair, blanket or sleeping bag, as well as bug spray. Please remember there is no smoking in City parks and dogs are prohibited on City parkland, so please leave your pooch at home.

Sunday 

Summerfest at Ellerslie
Join us on Sunday August 4th for SummerFest! Come at 10:00 AM and join us for our family service, and afterward head outside for tons of fun. We’re going to have games, bouncy castles, bubble soccer, train rides, a petting zoo, BBQ* and more! Don’t forget to pack your lawn chairs and picnic blankets.

Fairy Berry Festival 
Sprinkle a bit of magic and whimsy into this corn maze adventure to the farm! Fairies, pirates, home made berry shortcake, folk music, and maze adventures in the Mindbender and Kidz Corn Mazes are all part of the family fun! The “Fairy Berries” are the most exquisite of the strawberry season – small, dainty and delicious!
