Have you played in the Science Garage at the Telus World of Science? It’s one of our favourite places to play – because there’s just so much to do while you’re there. For kids 4+, we think you could easily spend an hour+ exploring everything there is to see in the new gallery.
Why You Should Visit the Science Garage
AUGMENTED REALITY SAND – In the Science Garage, you can spend time experimenting with found items (and so much more), like the augmented reality sand box that adjusts real time to the changes made in the sand.
FREEDOM CLIMBER – a climber wall that teaches kids angular momentum as they to traverse the wall while it rotates based on weight distribution. Our kids like to try and ‘race the wall’.
FROZEN SHADOWS – the fun wall absorbs light energy and slowly releases it, the shadows form as kids block the light. This is a fun, fun, way to make the funniest shadows you can.
MAKER SPACE – The Science Garage also features a Maker’s Space stocked with a variety of random materials and led by our science team who present challenges and tasks for all ages. Put your imagination to the ultimate test as you use the supplied materials to complete a specific challenge or build something entirely new.
