Drop in Playgroups are a great way to get out and explore something new with the kids, without having to pay an admission fee. You can meet new people, the kids can get a chance to interact with children their age, and sometimes, there’s even a snack. Here are five drop in playgroups for young children in Edmonton, coming up February.

What: Offers a fun environment that allows children and parents to experience learning through exploration and play. We provide a spacious playful space that caters to children who are 0 – 5 years old. We invite all of our new families to come and meet one another in an open and welcoming atmosphere

Cow Bus
Where: 5920 93a Ave NW (Parking Lot)
When: Thursdays, 12:30 – 2, January 14 – March 24 2016 and April 7– June 16 2016
What: The C.O.W. bus is a friendly space for parents and younger children, zero to three years, to learn and explore fun new ways to add literacy activities into their daily lives. Trained family literacy facilitators provide information on the importance of early language development and leave behind a small library of quality children’s books with each community.
