Fun (and Free) Drop in Playgroups for Little Kids in November #yeg

There are many, many free playdates for parents to attend in Edmonton (and area). With new drop in playdates every single day, and Edmonton playgrounps for parents to get to know one another, make new friends and have the chance for children to play with one another, it’s easy to get enjoy.

Playradise (Sherwood Park)

Playradise is a community ministry in the form of a free indoor playground which runs October to December and January to April.  Our doors are open to everyone in the community of Sherwood Park.  We welcome young children (newborn to five years old) accompanied by mothers, fathers, grandparents, and caregivers. Entrance is at Door No. 4 of the church.
When: Wednesday, 9:30 to noon

Busy Bodies

Is your child full of energy? Bring them to our new program where they can practice moving their bodies through obstacle courses, games and activities. Recommended for children one to six years old.

Little Explorers 

Children are Eager to try new things. In this drop in program, you will find new ways to play with unique and recycled items that aren’t usually used in a play setting. Open ended play allows the children to express themselves creatively. Recommended for ages 2-6, siblings welcome.
When: Tuesdays, 10-11 am (Until November 24)

Dunluce Drop in Fun 

This is one of the many programs around the city for free drop-in Fun. This is a Parent-Child Play program, 0-5 years old. Snack provided for participants. Toys, fun and other items available for play while parents connect with one another, or play.

Strathcona County Library (Sherwood Park)

A wonderful opportunity to meet other parents, spend time with your child and get to know your community! At Stay & Play you can expect to: Try some fun play ideas and recipes, Learn how to support your child’s development, Pick up some great parenting tips, Discover more about the resources in our community, Borrow from our lending library.
When: Tuesdays, 1-3

ASAC Drop-in Playgroup

Bring your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and meet other parents while the little ones play. There are plenty of toys, comfy couches, tea, coffee, and good conversation, so come say hello! Newcomers are always welcome.
When: Fridays, 10 to noon
Where: ASAC office (7219 – 106 Street, side door
