You Can Go on a Late Night Bat Observation Walk at Wagner Natural Area

Join the Alberta Community Bat Program and the Wagner Natural Area Society at Wagner Fen for a presentation and guided bat walk on July 23, 2018.

If you plan on attending, please let the Wagner Natural Area Society know by emailing:

We’ll begin the evening with a half hour talk on bats, and then use bat detectors to hear (and hopefully see) foraging bats.

This is a free event, suitable for people of all ages. But note that the first bats will typically not be observed until approximately 15-30 minutes after sunset.

Be sure to dress warm and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Insect repellent is also recommended. This event is weather dependent. Please check back for updates.
